“British Columbia is one of the steepest, highest, most glaciated and wettest/snowiest jurisdictions in the world. If this sounds like the perfect scenario for a cornucopia of waterfalls……it does not disappoint”.

Waterfalls of British Columbia–A Guide to BC’s 100 Best Falls published in May 2009, is the product of 12 years of research by Tony Greenfield. When the project began little was known about BC’s waterfalls. Tony gradually built a list of BC waterfalls and set out to visit them. To date he has visited about 300 waterfalls in BC. Tony also operates Whiskeyjack Nature Tours, a natural history tour company, and offers two 4-day tours of BC waterfalls.

This website hopes to operate as a forum for those interested in the waterfalls of BC with information and ongoing research into BC’s waterfalls.
